Robert Grosvenor

Robert Grosvenor (b. 1937, New York) has created some of the most radically unique sculptures of the postwar period. His works maintain a rich historical dialogue with Minimalism while countering with commonplace materials, monumental scale, and poetic form. Complex and allusive, the sculptures also engage sites in unexpected ways, provoking profound aesthetic experiences. At ICA Miami, Grosvenor recreates, for the first time in nearly fifty years, one of his most iconic early works, Untitled (1968–70/2019).
