Crafting Plastics for Lexus #5 (Limited Edition)

Crafting Plastics, the Bratislava-based design research studio, created the Ephemerables series combining hand-blown glass with Nuatan® material–the 100% bio-based and biodegradable material developed by the studio. The series is composed of five varied and modular objects that can serve as either scent diffusers or flower vases. Each piece features a delicate, cellular-like structure made from lightweight bioplastic material, enveloping a central hand-blown glass dome. The intricate bioplastic lattice functions to hold both reed diffusers, as well as, flowers. Edition of 5.
