Suchi Reddy for Lexus (Limited Edition)

Suchi Reddy, the designer, architect, and founder of Reddymade studio, crafted the Bloom series to underscore the role of technology in the design process. Each of the five objects in the series is crafted from interlocking slit paper–which utilizes precise cutting technology to create three-dimensional surfaces from a flat sheet of paper. Reddy transforms the paper material typically used as a replacement for bubble wrap into tabletop centerpieces for flowers and scents. Bloom reflects on Lexus’ integration of technology and design and attests to the intrinsic beauty of sustainable solutions crafted through technology-enabled intelligent design. Edition of 5.
